In brief

This page announces Kustory and keeps a waitlist. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services and loads no content from third-party servers. Fonts and images are on our own server in Poland, EU.

Visiting the website

When the page is requested, the web server stores the IP address, date and time, the requested page without appended parameters, the status code, the amount of data transferred, the referring page and the browser identifier in an access log.

The purpose is secure and reliable operation, the legal basis our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are deleted after 14 days.

Waitlist

For the waitlist we store the email address, the chosen language, the voluntary statement "I run a business", campaign parameters from the requested address (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content), the times of sign-up and confirmation and the version of this privacy notice.

The purpose is to inform you about the launch of Kustory. In aggregated form we evaluate which audiences and campaigns attract interest; individual persons are not examined.

The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). It only takes effect once you click the link in the confirmation email (double opt-in). You can withdraw it at any time via the link in every email or by writing to contact@lukaswojcik.com.

Unconfirmed entries are deleted 30 days after the confirmation email was sent. Confirmed entries are kept until you withdraw consent, at most twelve months after the launch of Kustory.

Protection against misuse

To detect automated mass sign-ups we limit the number of requests per network address. We do not store the IP address itself, only a check value formed with a secret key. It is deleted after 24 hours. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Sending emails

To send the confirmation emails we use OVHcloud (OVH SAS, Roubaix, France) as a processor.

Storage in the browser

If you switch the colour scheme, your own browser stores this choice locally (localStorage, key "ks-theme"). It is not transmitted to us and can be deleted in the browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).

You can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa) or the authority where you live.

Further information

There is no automated decision-making. Data is not transferred to countries outside the EU and the EEA.
